In 2019, three friends sat down over a beer and started a conversation that became Immobazyme; a company built to use biotechnology and responsible manufacturing to advance science and industry in South Africa.

What began as an early idea quickly became a focused start-up, committed to making high-performance biologics and biomolecules more accessible by improving how they are developed and produced.

Today, Immobazyme has grown beyond its founding team into a multidisciplinary organisation working across food, cosmetics, industrial biotech, agriculture, and health—using precision fermentation to translate biology into scalable solutions.
